Now it’s Expedia’s Turn for a Weeklong Workation in Vilnius.
From 24 to 30 September, an Expedia team from Great Britain is visiting Lithuania’s capital to take part in the Workation Vilnius programme. Headquartered in Washington, Expedia is one of the world’s largest travel platforms, managing over 200 travel reservation websites and more than 150 mobility reservation sites. With 22,000+ employees working across 30 countries, the company’s revenue hit $10.4 billion in the first quarter of 2018 alone.
The Expedia Group Media Solutions team of 10 people are trading their desks at the company’s London office for ones at Monday Office, a modern co-working space at the Green Hall 2 business centre. The employees participating in the Workation Vilnius Programme will have the opportunity work and enjoy themselves in Lithuania’s capital.

WORK FROM LITHUANIA
Vilnius is among the fastest-growing business centres in the world. Its highly developed infrastructure, rapid broadband connectivity and wide selection of high-quality offices make it an excellent location for doing great work.
LET THE WORK FLOW
A change of location often inspires new ideas. Get a fresh perspective of the day-to-day while working in a city with an enviable work/life balance. Accommodation in a new 4-star hotel in the centre of town will mean shorter commutes for your workation team, giving everyone more time to focus on what’s most important: inspiring and productive work, active leisure and even a little sightseeing.
MEET LOCAL TALENT
Work from a tech hub
International IT, FinTech and Life Science companies are already diving into our local talent pool. You’ll also have the chance to take a peak into the entrepreneurial spirit driving the city at your Workation Vilnius office space, which is housed in the new Green Hall 2 Business Centre, a green building located along the banks of the Neris River. Get ready for complete access to a mindfully designed and flexible working space that leaves a minimal environmental footprint.
FEEL THE LOCAL VIBE
Get a taste of local life
You might want to take advantage of the fact that Vilnius is the only European capital that allows hot air balloons to float over the city centre. That’s not all: with its many green areas, local and international events, quaint Old Town streets and welcoming people, Vilnius is definitely one of the best towns when it comes to work/life balance. You’ll have to experience it for yourself, though.
